ACES Online for Elementary Students

Students in primary grades are at a critical point in their education. They are establishing the foundations for future learning; developing their knowledge of language, computation, logic, and analysis; and forming an understanding of the natural world and society that surround them.

Reading K-2

Children at this age are still developing the foundations for future communication skills, so catching and holding their attention while introducing new skills and concepts is essential. A series of fun games teaches and reviews concepts while simultaneously assessing their knowledge and progress. Activities in K–2  include high frequency words, study skills, fluency, vocabulary, letter recognition, writing conventions, sounds, and reading comprehension.
