SAT Prep Tutoring
Did you know that one of two high school students re-take the SAT?
Help your student prepare for the SAT, whether it is for the first time or to improve a score. We will review the SAT format, test-taking skills, and content in math, reading, and writing. We can focus on one subject area or work on all areas.
One-on-one tutoring sessions will focus on the areas that you need more help with. We hold sessions for 2-3 hours in your home or at the local library.
Discounts are available for groups of two or more who wish to do tutoring sessions together.

Summer SAT Syllabus
Summer SAT class will generally follow the following schedule:
- Pre-test, Inventory of Student’s Strengths and Weaknesses
- Do I have to read the entire passage? Master the Critical Reading section
- Numbers, letters, words and graphs: Pre-Algebra and Algebra in the Mathematics section.
- Everything you forgot from English class: Writing Skills & the Essay.
- Squares, Triangles and Circles; and Pretzel Logic: Breaking down the advanced mathematics questions
- Sentence Completion is not MAD LIBS: Finding the “correct” word for sentence completion questions.
- Revisit Reading Comp. and Math Strategies
- Can I just take the test finally? The Post-test and Final Remarks.
