No Child Left Behind/SES Tutoring ACES Tutoring has been a participating provider of free tutoring services through the No Child Left Behind grant with the School District of Palm Beach County since it began in 2005. Under this Supplemental Educational Services (SES) program, students receive free tutoring in reading or math. Registration begins in August and tutoring services begin in October. ACES provides one-on-one tutoring in the student's home. To participate, a student must attend a qualifying school and also receive free/reduced lunch. The registration form is available through the school and parents must choose "ACES Tutoring" as their #1 Choice when selecting providers. Parents can receive more information about this program by submitting this form. ACES Tutoring Scholarship Program While working with this program, we meet so many families who do not qulaify for free tutoring under the specifications of this grant. Many families are deeply concerned with the academic performance of their children but cannot afford additional services. Because we have seen the impact one-on-one tutoring can make in a student's life, we wanted to find a way to offer help to more families. This year we launched the ACES Tutoring Scholarship Program. This program is funded completely from fundraising activities, donations, and volunteer support. This will only be possible through the collaboration of the whole community. We are accepting donations of all kinds. Unused items will be given to Goodwill. Back-to-School Event: We will be hosting a Back To School Open House in beginning of August.
