FCAT Prep
Beginning in 3rd grade, Florida students take the standardized FCAT test. We can help students from 3rd grade through 12th grade prepare for this test. Being familiar with the format and the kind of questions that will be on the test helps students feel more comfortable taking the FCAT.
An FCAT tutor will begin with an FCAT pre-test to determine your student's level and areas of weakness and strength. Through our curriculum and FCAT-correlated workbooks, your student will study content areas featured on the FCAT test as well as learning test-taking strategies and study skills.
FCAT tutoring can be combined with regular private tutoring as well. Registering for an FCAT tutor is the same as registering for a private, one-on-one tutor.
SAT Prep
Did you know that more than half of high school students re-take the SAT test at least once? With ACES Tutoring, your student will receive one-on-one attention to prepare for the SAT test.
We will review the SAT format, test-taking skills, and content in math, reading, and writing. We can focus on one subject area or work on all areas based on your student's individual needs.CES offers you an SAT tutor who will work with your student individually to prepare for the test. SAT tutors work one-on-one to prepare for the test. We can meet at your home or at the local library. Our SAT Prep tutors all have experience tutoring for the SAT test. SAT Tutoring sessions are a minimum of two hours at a time. Several sessions can be scheduled over a few weeks in preparation of an upcoming exam or a more structured schedule can be created over the course of two months.
